Have you herd the moos?

Posted by Michael Russell on Sep 30, 08 06:03 PM in Local Authority

THE first calf of the Horsenden Hill newborns has been named - but there is not long to have your chance to name the other two.

Snowy is one of three cows born on the hill earlier this month to a herd of five bought in as living lawn mowers.
The name was chosen by Lucy Woloszczuk of Lexden Road, Acton.

The six-year-old who attends St Vincent's RC Primary School in Pierrepoint Road, Acton, said: "I'm happy.
"I chose it because it was the name of a white horse in a computer game. When my mummy cut out the cow in the newspaper and showed it to me I thought a good name for a cow as well."

Anyone with any naming suggestions should write to the Gazette at: Cow Competition, Ealing Gazette, 134-136 The Broadway, West Ealing, W13 0TL.
