Learners driven to despair
GREENFORD is the sixth worst place in the country to take your driving test according to latest figures.
The test centre in Horsenden Lane has a pass rate of just 31.8 per cent say motoring magazine Auto Express.
The figures were compiled from the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) who are responsible for keeping drivers safe on the roads.
The worst is Bradford at 27.1 per cent and for the best chances learners should head up to Gairloch in Scotland where the rate is 70.6.
A DSA spokesman said standards of testing is the same throughout the UK.
He added: "Socio-economic factors, related to different areas, can have a bearing on pass rates and the fact that some people are more prepared for the test than others.
"The wealthier the town/area, the more likely people are able to invest more money on lessons and will have more opportunities for private practice."
