Freezer fire destroys kitchen

Dodgy electrics ignited a fire in a fridge freezer destroying a home's kitchen.

More than a dozen firefighters attended the blaze at 8.30pm on Sunday, in Greenford Road, Greenford.

The crews took just five minutes to douse the flames and 45 minutes to make safe. Parts of the two-bed flat were damaged by smoke.
