Greenford gang show set for success

Posted by Michael Russell on Feb 11, 09 05:16 PM in Clubs/societies

Final rehearsals are taking place for this year's Gang Show, back at Greenford Hall by popular demand.

More than 70 scouts and guides will lay on three nights of music, dance, drama, comedy and more to suit every taste, themed around a year in a life.

Tracy Minson, district commissioner for 1st Woodend Brownies, said: "The past 54 shows have been great successes and this is will be no different with entertainment for everyone, young and old.

"It just shows how popular scouting and guiding still is."

It is the 55th show for the Greenford district scouts and guides and will run from February 19 to 21. Polished performances are promised after months of practicing.

On top of that the entertainment will be raising money for the mayor's charities Acton Homeless Concern and west London YMCA, as well as Relay, part of Cancer Research UK.
