Police crack down on drug dens

Posted by Michael Russell on Feb 26, 09 11:34 AM in Crime

Hundreds of cannabis plants have been seized by police after they raided two drug factories.

About 800 plants in different stages of growth were found at a converted three-bedroom house in Eastcote Avenue, Greenford.
North Greenford Safer Neighbourhood officers forced their way in on Thursday (19).
Sergeant, Adrian Tither, said: "This is the third cannabis factory we've closed down in the last month and will lead to a marked decrease in the availability of the drug within the borough."
The following day Perivale Safer Neighbourhood Police team raided another property in Scorton Avenue and found 150 plants and arrested a Vietnamese man at the scene.
