Oldfield Circus Co-op closure

Worried neighbours fear they will have to travel miles for their weekly shop now their local Co-op supermarket has closed down - two months after the Company said it would not happen.

The store in Oldfield Circus, Northolt, has been bought by Costcutter and will be run as a franchise. Residents fear it will turn into a convenience store rather than a supermarket, reducing the range of stock.

POLICE are warning dangerous drivers they are paying regular visits to a roundabout notorious for motorists cutting each other up.

Instead of joining the slower inside lanes around the Target Roundabout to leave at Church Road, cars are going around the outside and forcing their way in at the last minute.

Greenford Guided Walks

People are invited to take part in a free guided walk in Ealing at the end of the Month.

FRUSTRATED residents are appealing for vital access routes from an estate to be made safe and warn someone else may be killed.

Neighbours have been campaigning for years for better lighting and for foliage to be cut back in the alleys leading from the Wood End Estate to the surrounding shops, public transport and main roads.

Pirates were cut off from the airways when police took down their 20ft mast.
