Good for Greenford continues

Posted by Michael Russell on Aug 27, 09 03:51 PM in

The penultimate phase of the work to transform Greenford Town Centre is now underway.
It is hoped the £5.1m scheme will make the area a more pleasant place to live work and shop.
The first part of phase five will concentrate on the north side of Greenford Road and will include new pavements and improving the pedestrian crossing. It is planned to be completed by the end of October.
Council Leader Jason Stacey, said: "Things are really taking shape now and as part of the plans we will soon be working with local businesses and carrying out external building improvements to enhance the appearance of the area.
