Northolt pensioner wins cooker refund thanks to Gazette

A sick pensioner has won a ten-month battle to get a company to refund her money on what she claimed was a faulty cooker thanks to the Gazette.


She said the appliance was too hot to handle and food was not cooked properly.Although engineers said there was nothing wrong with the appliance, after being contacted by the Gazette they agreed to give her a refund as a gesture of goodwill.
