Posted by Michael Russell on Sep 21, 09 12:27 PM in

A weekend of walks hopes to encourage residents out of their cars to explore their environment.

There are 40 guided strolls across the capital and two of them start or finish in Greenford.

On Saturday (26) a three and a half hour walk will take you from Greenford station to South Kenton station via a climb up Horsenden Hill, starting at 11.30am.

While a more relaxed amble following the River Brent and the Grand Union Canal is planned from Boston Manor station to Greenford station, beginning at 2.30pm.

All walks are free. Visit www.walklondon.co.uk or call 0870 240 6094 to find out more.

We'd like to hear from you.
