Irish club for pensioners

Posted by Poppy Bradbury on Jun 7, 11 08:55 AM in Clubs/societies

OLDER Irish residents can meet fellow countrymen at a weekly pensioners' club.

The Irish Support and Advice Centre hosts the Pensioners' Social Group at the Civil Engineer pub, in Ruislip Road, every Wednesday from 2-4pm.

They also offer a drop-in advice service at Viking Community Centre, in Radcliffe Way, Wednesday mornings from 10am to 12.30pm. They can help on how to access benefits and pay rent. Home visits can be arranged.
