Four arrested after drugs raid at Crown Inn, Northolt
Four people were arrested at a Northolt pub after police sniffer dogs found a large quantity of cocaine.
Ealing Police's licensing team with the approval of the brewery company Mitchell and Butler raided the Crown Inn, in Ealing Road, using a search warrant on Friday last week (20).
Officers swooped on the premises on a busy Friday night using drug search dogs to sniff out the Class A drug.
Two men, aged 39 and 44, were arrested for possession of cocaine. They were released with a caution.
A 43-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were arrested for conspiracy to supply drugs. The woman was also arrested for allowing the pub to be used for the consumption of illegal substances.
The pair have been bailed to return to a west London police station in June.
PC Simon Doyle, licensing officer for Greenford, Northolt and Perivale, said: "The use of drugs in any licensed premises in the borough will not be tolerated and will be robustly dealt with."
The Crown Inn closed immediately following the raid and reopened on Monday (23) under new management.
