The 22-year-old woman was treated by paramedics after a collision with a lorry outside Cardinal Wiseman School in Greenford Road, Greenford at 4pm on Friday last week (06).

She suffered a cardiac arrest and was flown to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel for treatment.

The driver stopped at the scene but no arrests have been made.

A London Ambulance spokeswoman said: "Our staff treated one patient who was in cardiac arrest. Extensive efforts were made to resuscitate her at the scene and she was taken by air to Royal London Hospital, a major trauma centre."

A police spokeswoman said she remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Greenford Road was closed for some time while emergency services arrived.
